Collision Specialists, Inc. (CSI) is proud to announce that two of its crash experts, Senior Accident Reconstructionist Shane Keller (right) and Commercial Vehicle Specialist John Harrison (left) recently completed a comprehensive class on Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorders (EDRs).

The 40-hour course was offered by Northwestern University’s Center for Public Safety (NUCPS) at their main campus in Evanston, Illinois.  With thousands of former students engaged in law enforcement and traffic safety professions around the globe, NUCPS has earned the reputation as the worldwide leader in public safety professional development, education, and research.

The course was authored and taught by five of the top vehicle event data recorder experts in the world who have collectively conducted extensive research and published numerous peer-reviewed articles on the topic. Curriculum for the course included collecting, preserving, analyzing, and interpreting electronic crash data, as well as hands-on field testing.
